David MacLeod to speak at Employee Benefits Live

Employee Benefits LiveEmployee Benefits Live, which takes place on 25-26 September at Olympia, London, boasts an impressive speaker line-up this year. The conference which runs alongside an exhibition promises the industry’s top reward, benefits and HR specialists, discussing the latest challenges. Sessions are free to attend.

Michelle Connolly, compensation and benefits director at Oracle will deliver the opening address on Tuesday 25 September. She will look at the changing workforce, the impact of the generation shift and what this means for motivation and a new approach to benefits.

On day two David MacLeod, the high profile co-chair of the Employment Engagement Task Force will speak, throwing light on current thinking on employee engagement. Louise Beardmore, head of organisational development and HR operations at United Utilities will discuss driving the engagement agenda.

“We are delighted that David MacLeod will be talking on the subject of his report so soon before it is published,” said Debi O’Donovan editor of Employee Benefits magazine. “The impact of employee engagement on UK businesses has changed significantly since his original MacLeod Review was released in 2009.”

Sessions follow throughout both days covering auto-enrolment pensions, flexible benefits, pensions strategy, human resources strategy, employee wellbeing and more.

With the new pensions auto-enrolment legislation taking effect from 1 October, it will be particularly interesting to hear from Asda, one of the first organisations affected. They’ll be sharing their experiences on the first day of the conference, say the organizers of Employee Benefits Live.
